The Cantonese SpeechDat-like MDB-2000 database contains the recordings of 2,000 Cantonese speakers (996 males, 1,004 females) recorded over the mobile telephone network in China and Hong Kong. It follows the specifications given in the framework of the SpeechDat(II) project.
The MANDARIN-5000 database contains the recordings of 4,752 speakers (2383 males, 2369 females) of Mandarin as first or second language (3,222 native speakers) recorded over the fixed and mobile telephone networks in all provinces of mainland China, including Hong Kong.
The SpeechDat(M) Italian Mobile Network Speech Database contains the recordings of 342 speakers (156 males, 186 females) of Italian recorded over the mobile telephone network. The database complies with the common specifications created in the SpeechDat project.
The LILA Marathi database collected in India was recorded within the scope of the LILA II project. It contains the recordings of 2,002 Marathi speakers (992 males and 1010 females) recorded over the Indian mobile telephone network.
