Corpus LANCOM

This is a corpus of spoken French containing 39 hours of video records and about 18 hours of annotated transcriptions. This is a verbal interaction corpus in French.

LANCOM stands for "LANgue et COMmunication". This corpus was created to compare French native speaker in Belgium and France with Flemish-speaking learners at school.

It is divided into 3 parts :
- role-plays by Flemish-speaking learners of French (29 hours),
- the same by Belgian Francophones (5 hours)
- the same by French Francophones (5 hours).

18 hours (523 records) have been orthographically transcribed, error-tagged and Part-of-Speech tagged.
