Australian English - Telephony ASR Database (2)
This is an Australian English telephony database (mobile and fixed) containing 75,000 utterances. The corpus is balanced over age and gender.
Each of the 1,000 speakers read 75 prompts (mixture of 'read' and 'elicited' items), including:
- Digits
- Natural Numbers
- Letter strings
- Personal, place, and business names
- Confirmation items (yes, no + fuzzy)
- Generic Command and Control items
- Phonetically rich Sentences and Words
It was fully transcribed to SpeechDAT type conventions.
A pronunciation lexicon containing all transcribed words was extracted from the database.
