Vietnamese Telephone Speech Corpus

This is a telephone speech database for Vietnamese. It consists of two parts:

- Mobile phone: 170 speakers from the north (55% male, 45% female), 1,600 digit strings.

- Cordless phone: 208 speakers from the south (130 males, 78 females), 442 sentences with 2,340 words (extracted from "22 Language v1.2" and "Multi-Language Telephone Speech v1.2" corpora).

It is labeled at syllable level and also manually labeled at phonetic level.

It is a useful resource for dialog systems development (continuous digit recognition) and text-to-speech development (reading SMS).
