English and Finnish Speech Data

The objectives of the project within which these data were recorded were: to enable multilingual conversational access to information for EU citizens, to provide multimodal, i.e. spoken and written language support. Some 300 calls were made to the English and Finnish voice-only telephony systems. Evaluation data was collected, and used for tuning the application.
