The Corpus of Spoken Israeli Hebrew
CoSIH is a Israeli Hebrew spoken corpus that will amount to 5,000,000 words when completed (still under construction).
This resource will integrate demographic and contextual variables, thereby reflecting the different varieties of Hebrew spoken in Israel.
Data: speech acts from 950 informants in natural settings (with respective socio-linguistic data) and also 50 other linguistic events (from the media).
Equipment: Sony TCD-D100 DAT recorders with Sonic Studios stereophonic DSM-1S/L microphones.
Transcription: orthographic (phonetic for some parts).
