VODIS Database
VODIS database is a French and German natural speech corpus recorded in a moving car.
Features of the French database:
- Spontaneously spoken French.
- The database includes several sources of noise (6).
- Four microphones.
- The vocabulary contains 140 key-words.
- 200 drivers (100 female and 100 male) uttered 180 sentences.
- Textual transcriptions of all acoustic recordings are available.
Data also contain two spoken cross-lingual corpora: German subjects speaking French and French subjects speaking German.
The aim of the project was to develop a voice operated interface for a navigation system.
VODIS stands for 'Voice Operated Driving Information System'.
