Belfast Naturalistic Database
The Belfast Naturalistic database contains recordings of discussions on emotive subjects and recorded extracts from television programs. Recordings were chosen to be as spontaneous as possible (interactive unscripted discourse), to sample genuine emotional states. It covers a wide range of emotions.
File Formats: mpeg files, wav files.
Size: 239 clips (each between 10 and 60 sec long), 209 from TV Recordings, 30 from interview recordings.
Number of speakers: 125 (31 male, 94 female).
Type of emotional description: dimensional and categorical labelling.
It was designed and collected in the framework of the HUMAINE project.
