Nepali Spoken Corpus
The Nepali Spoken Corpus is a part of the Nepali National Corpus (NNC).
This is a spoken corpus in Nepali, designed on the basis of the Goteborg Spoken Language Corpus. It consists of audio-video recordings (mpeg format) with phonological transcriptions and annotations about the participants activities (116 activity occurrences belonging to 17 activity types). Transcriptions contains about 260,000 words.
In addition to this spoken corpus, the NNC contains :
- a text-to-speech corpus (see Nepali Text-to-Speech Corpus, ref. U-S0206).
- a monolingual written corpus (see Nepali Written Corpus, ref. U-W0295).
- a parallel corpus (see Nepali-English Parallel Corpus, ref. U-W0296).
