UPUS / Oslo corpus
This is a corpus of Norwegian spoken by young people from 13 to 23 years old. It is intended to be representative of the multi-ethnic youth in urban environments and contains video-recorded interviews and conversations collected at school, in families or among friends groups in Oslo, especially in two local communities where the migrant population is important. UPUS stands for "Linguistic development in urban environments".
The UPUS / Oslo corpus is still under developement and contains about 55 recordings (in 2009) with orthographic transcriptions linked to the digital sound files. It should result in 90 recordings.
