Berlin Emotional Speech Database
This is a German speech database of about 800 sentences read by 10 actors with simulated emotion.
Speakers (5 female and 5 male) were asked to read 10 utterances (5 short and 5 longer sentences) simulating different kinds of emotion: happiness, anger, anxiety/fear, boredom, sadness, disgust or no emotion at all (neutral).
Recordings (wav format) were made in an anechoic room, at the sampling rate of 16 kHz and resolution of 16 bit. The total recording time per speaker was approximately of 2 hours.
Label files (encoded in ASCII) provide annotation at phoneme and syllable levels.
