Interactive Emotional Dyadic Motion Capture database

The Interactive Emotional Dyadic Motion Capture database (IEMOCAP) is a multimodal database which contains 12 hours of audio-video recordings with motion capture informations for head, face and hands.

10 speakers (5 male / 5 female) were recorded in dyadic interactions (5 sessions with 2 subjects each). Speakers are actors, and were asked to read scripted sentences and to have spontaneous dialogs following hypothetical scenarios designed to show emotions such as happiness, sadness, anger and frustration.

They were recorded by 2 microphones at the sample rate of 48 kHz and 2 high resolution digital cameras. In addition to that, 8 cameras recorded trajectories of the 61 markers data attached to the face, head and hands of one of the two speakers talking together.

Transcription contains 10,039 speaker turns (5255 turns for scripted session and 4784 turns for spontaneous ones).
