Filipino Speech Corpus
The Filipino Speech Corpus (FSC) is a database of read and spontaneous speech in Filipino, the national language of the Philippines (based on Tagalog).
Recordings consists of reading sentences (748 words) related to different situations: introducing oneself, relating an emotional event, telling a story, giving directions, giving advice, describing a scene. It also contains 5 minutes of spontaneous speech.
100 speakers (50 male and 50 female) were recorded at a sampling frequency of 44,1kHz and downsampled to 16kHz.
The corpus has been fully transcribed using Transcriber.
