Estonian Emotional Speech Corpus
The Estonian Emotional Speech Corpus (EEKK) contains two female voices reading sentences expressing anger, joy and sadness. It also contains neutral sentences. It currently consists of 79 sentences expressing anger, 3 for joy, 20 for sadness and 25 neutral sentences. Work is still in progress to enlarge the database.
Additional informations are provided within the database such as recording information, segmentation layers and emotion perception percentage for each sentence (displayed from perception tests on recognisability of the rendered emotion).
This corpus is collected in the framework of the National Programme for Estonian Language Technology. The aim is that emotions can be recognised in natural and non-acted speech.
