GSR Spoken Japanese Dialect Corpus
This is a database of read and spontaneous speech in Japanese dialects. Speakers were asked to read sentences of greetings, telephone dialogues, continuous vowels, counting numerals and telephone numbers. It also includes 5 minutes of natural conversations.
A total of 133 speakers were recorded, including 9 dialects:
- Aomori: 13 people (6 males and 7 females)
- Yamagata: 12 people (6 males and 6 females)
- Chib: 13 people (4 males and 9 females)
- Aichi: 11 people (5 males and 6 females)
- Toyama: 23 people (6 males and 17 females)
- Nara: 21 people (12 males and 9 females)
- Tottori: 15 people (6 males and 9 females)
- Kagawa: 15 people (8 males and 7 females)
- Fukuoka: 10 people (4 males and 6 females)
It is stored in WAV format (16kHz, 16bit, Mono).
