Multi-Channel Wall Street Journal Audio-Visual Corpus
The Multi-Channel Wall Street Journal Audio-Visual (MC-WSJ-AV) corpus contains audio and video recordings of about 45 speakers reading sentences in several scenarios including a single stationary speaker, a single moving speaker and multiple concurrent speakers.
Speakers, including some non-native English speakers, had to read the prompt consisting of Wall Street Journal sentences taken from the WSJCAM0 database (described in the Universal catalogue under the reference U-S 0123).
It was recorded in the same meeting rooms as for the AMI Meeting Corpus recordings (see U-MM0024 for a full description). Speech were captured through lapel and headset microphones, and two eight element microphone arrays. Synchronised video recordings are provided, including close-up views of speakers' faces and wide-angle views of the entire room.
