N4 Database
The N4 is a non-native database containing recordings from naval communication training sessions in the Netherlands, Germany, United Kingdom and Canada. Speakers had to use NATO English procedure between ships and read a text both in English and in the speaker's native language.
Audio data was recorded on DAT and downsampled to 16kHz-16bit. It has been transcribed with rich information about speaker background.
Accents: British, Dutch, German, Canadian.
Duration: 7,5 hours.
