CORP-ORAL Speech Corpus
CORP-ORAL is a spontaneous speech corpus of European Portuguese (60 h).
Recordings come with orthographic transcription, phonetic transcription and prosodic marking.
The different steps of the project are:
- Recording of 60 hours of conversations between two European Portuguese speakers. Material: a Marantz PMD670 professional recorder and two Beyerdynamic Opus 55.18 MK II microphones.
- Selection and transcription of the corpus material.
- Selection and phonetic transcription of orthographically transcribed and prosodically marked chunks of the corpus.
It is designed to improve the development of speech synthesis and recognition programs.
