IFA Corpus
The IFA corpus is a database of hand-segmented Dutch speech. 8 speakers (4 male, 4 female) were recorded for a total of 5,5 hours of speech. It contains informal as well as read speech. The read material is taken from the transcribed conversation text (sentences, words and syllables).
Recordings were made on two separate channels:
- from a fixed microphone (_fm, Sennheiser MKH 105, a HF condenser microphone),
- from a head mounted microphone (_hm, Shure SM10A, a moving coil microphone).
All material is segmented and labeled at the phoneme level.
The IFA corpus was built with Praat (Praat ASCII Sound files, 44.1 kHz and 16 bit).
