Spaghetti/Activity Database

This dataset contains emotional audiovisual recordings in English collected with various procedures:

- people engaged in outdoor activities (mountain bike racing for example). This technique elicited positive and negative emotions with a high level of activation. In this set of recording, the video data is moving fast and the sound track is noisy.

- people asked to feel in boxes (Spaghetti method, more controlled environment). They also recorded what they felt emotionally during the activity. This technique elicited a wide range of brief and relatively intense emotions (surprise, anticipation, curiosity, shock, fear, disgust). In this set of recording, the video output is more static and the audio output consists mainly of exclamations.

This database contains the recordings of 50 females and 68 males. The total amount of data is approximately of 187 minutes.

It was designed and collected in the framework of the HUMAINE project.
