Nordic Dialect Corpus
The Nordic Dialect Corpus is a corpus of Norwegian, Swedish, Danish, Faroese and Övdalian. It consists of spontaneous speech data from dialects of the North Germanic languages across the Nordic countries.
It contains interviews and conversations, transcribed, POS-tagged and linked to corresponding audio or video material.
The corpus is still growing. In 2009, it contained speech data from approximately 240 informants with 521,000 words. This number should rise to around 600 informants for 1 million words.
