Corpus of Spoken Quebec French
This is a multimodal resource which contains spontaneous conversations in French spoken in Quebec. Groups of four (2 male / 2 female) were asked to talk as freely as possible about various topics. Duration of each conversation is about one hour and a half.
Annotated transcriptions are aligned with video and audio recordings and include prosodic features (pause, delivery, emphasis, ...) for the speech part and communicative gestures indications (laugh, applause, ...) for the video part.
CFPQ stands for "Corpus de français parlé au Québec". This corpus is still under development. It should result in about 45 hours of recordings.
