Phonetic Corpus of Estonian Spontaneous Speech
The Phonetic Corpus of Estonian Spontaneous Speech contains recordings of spontaneous monologues and dialogues segmented phonetically on word, sound and other linguistic levels.
It consists of about 22 hours of speech (155,000 words) from 20 male and 20 female speakers with different dialectological and social background. 12 of them are young speakers, 8 are young middle-aged, 8 are middle-aged and 12 are elderly speakers. They were recorded in a recording studio or on fieldwork.
Signal of each speaker has been recorded in a separate channel and recordings are saved in PCM wav-format (not compressed).
Annotation in separate text files includes background information about the recordings.
