Multi-dialectal speech corpus of Mongolia

The Multi-dialectal speech corpus of Mongolia (MDSCM) is a collection of 5 dialects of Mongolian among the areas of Mongolia, Inner Mongolia and Xin Jiang region of China, Kalmykia and Buryat A.R. (autonomous region) of Russia.

It contains 23 hours of read speech and 4 hours of spontaneous speech (recorded at the sampling rate of 48 KHz). Transcriptions are provided both in the different versions of Mongolian and in Latin forms.

The aim of the MDSCM is to build Mongolian speech corpora for linguistic investigation on the different forms of Mongolian and for speech translation among the dialects.
