Australian English Speech Corpus for In-Car Speech

This Australian English database contains 3,787 utterances from 50 native speakers (20 female and 30 male speakers) recorded in-car in 7 different driving conditions. It is aimed at covering noise types and levels present in a vehicle and representing driving scenarios in Australia.

Each speaker recorded 42 utterances (6 for each driving condition) including an address-style utterance or a chain of commands used in a navigation system.

Speech was recorded by a microphone array of 8 microphones at the sampling frequency of 50 kHz. It was then separated into individual channels and re-sampled to 16-bits per sample and a 16 kHz sampling rate.
