RUSLANA
This is a speech database which contains a total of 3,660 utterances recorded by 61 speakers (12 male and 49 female) aged from 16 to 28 years old. They were asked to read ten sentences neutrally (unemotionally) and in five emotional states (surprise, happiness, anger, sadness and fear).
Speech was recorded through a microphone at a sampling rate of 48 kHz and converted into Windows PCM format at 32 kHz sampling frequency, 16 bits resolution, mono.
Text files are provided for each audio file, including:
- labels on the word level,
- labels on the phoneme level,
- time series for extracted prosodic features.
RUSLANA stands for RUSsian LANguage Affective speech database. It was created to develop a system of emotions recognition in Russian.
