JEIDA Noise Database
The JEIDA collected various kinds of typical environmental noises, considering environments under which speech input devices are expected to be used. They are supposed to be used for performance assessment of speech recognizers. Noise data are recorded on 18 DAT cassettes of 120 minutes, one of which is a digest version of the other 17 cassettes ; the data is called JEIDA Noise Database. Recording environments : Automobile cabin A; 2000cc class ; on highway and ordinary road, Automobile cabin B; 1500cc class ; on highway and ordinary road, Exhibition hall A (in a booth), Railway station (near ticket vending machines), etc.
