BABEL-Polish Database
BABEL was a joint European project under the COPERNICUS scheme comprising partners from a number of Eastern and Western European research centers. BABEL has produced a multi-language database comprising five of the most widely differing Eastern European languages.
The Polish database consists of the basic "common" set which is:
- Many Talker Set: 30 males, 30 females; each to read twice the five blocks of numbers (each of which contains 10 numbers), 3 connected passages and one «filler» passage.
- Few Talker Set: A Multi-Language Database; BABEL is producing a multi-language database comprising five of the most widely differing Eastern European languages.
