EUROM1 corpus for Danish

The EUROM.1 database for Danish contains read speech from 60 speakers
(35 men, 25 women) recorded in an anechoic room, using close talking microphone. Speakers were asked to read sentences, numbers and CVC (Consonant-Vowel-Consonant) words.

Equivalent corpora for each of the European languages were collected with the same number of speakers selected in the same way, and recorded in the same conditions with common file formats (Italy, United Kingdom, Germany, Netherlands, Norway, Sweden, France). Additional recordings have been then completed in Greece, Spain and Portugal.

The content consists of:
- 40 short passages containing 5 thematically connected sentences each and 30 patching sentences (continuous speech).
- 100 selected numbers from 0 to 9999.
- 114 CVC words isolated and in context.

Orthographic and phonotypical transcriptions are also provided.

It is distributed through the ELRA catalogue http://catalog.elra.info/ under reference S0292.
