Vera am Mittag German Audio-Visual Emotional Speech Database
The VAM corpus is an emotional speech database. It contains 12 hours of recordings of the German TV talk-show “Vera am Mittag” (Vera at noon).
This audiovisual speech corpus consists of spontaneous and very emotional speech recorded from authentic discussions between some guests of the talk-show.
It is segmented into 12 broadcasts, with 4 or 5 dialogue acts each, and contains segmented utterances of 104 different speakers.
It is a resource of great value for spontaneous speech analysis, emotion recognition in both speech and facial expression, as well as robust speech recognition.
