Canal 9 political debate corpus
The Canal 9 political debate corpus contains about 42 hours of political debates in French, recorded by the Canal 9 local TV station and broadcast in Switzerland.
This a collection of 72 political debates, in which three to five French speaking participants are involved (one moderator and up to four participants). Each debate is focused on a single yes/no answer question. After having stated their positions, participants formed two groups of opponents.
The corpus contains both video and audio. Annotation includes a rich set of socially relevant features (turn-taking, agreement-disagreement, role) and others descriptors like speaker segmentation, shot segmentation, people appearing in personal shots, shot classes...
