Hungarian Named Entity Corpus of Business Newswire Texts

Hungarian Named Entity Corpus of Business Newswire Texts comprises 200,000 words of short business news articles (segments of the Szeged corpus). The corpus has been POS tagged and standard annotation has been added to entities (person, location, organisation names, miscellaneous entities).

It was designed to support the development of Named Entity Recognition systems for Hungarian (and thereby improve Information Extraction, Machine Translation, syntactic parsing, etc.).
