The Corpus of Early English Medical Writing

It is a corpus of medical texts from 1375 to 1800 which is divided according to three historical periods :
- MEMT Middle English Medical Texts (The medieval section), containing 500,000 words.
- EMMT Early Modern Medical Texts (from 1500 to 1700), which is under progress and is expected to gather 1,8 million of words.
- LMEMT : Late Modern English Medical Texts, which will cover the 18th century.

This resource is designed for studies on the evolution of medical writing.
