Corpus of Spoken Professional American English

This American English corpus contains transcripts of professional conversations which were recorded between 1994 and 1998. It gathers 2 million words from 400 speakers.
It can be divided in two sub-corpora of one million words each: press conference transcripts from the White House and academic discussions (such as faculty council meetings).

Concordance program is not provided with the corpus, but it can be used with MonoConc.

A tagged version of the corpus has also been created.

Note that transcription has not been produced by linguists.
