Academia Sinica Balanced Corpus of Modern Chinese is being built since 1994. Several versions have been compiled. Sinica 3.0, which was completed in 1997, has 5 million words. The new version Sinica 5.0 contains 10 million words from various topics: philosophy, science, society, art, life, literature.
Texts are segmented and POS tagged.
