PolyU Business Corpus
The PolyU Business Corpus (PUBC) contains 3 comparable corpora of business texts in English, Chinese and Japanese.
It consists of news and reports from the business and finance sections of newspapers, annual reports and press releases from companies, online versions of company brochures and leaflets.
Journalistic texts were collected from the online editions of newspapers published in Hong-Kong (for the English and Chinese parts) or in Japan (for the Japanese part).
It represents a total of:
- 1,295,990 words in English (26,960 unique words),
- about 1,230,000 characters in Chinese,
- about 1,320,000 words in Japanese.
