The Triptic Corpus (English, French and Dutch)
The Triptic corpus is a trilingual parallel corpus for English, French and Dutch, which was developed for the contrastive analysis of prepositions (based on the Namur Corpus). All the translation directions are represented in two subcorpora (fiction and non fiction).
It contains 2,000,000 words and is aligned at paragraph level. The annotation is minimal: tagging for prepositions (delimitation and lemmatisation). Once in the Triptic database, the samples are enriched with syntactic and semantic information.
Triptic stands for 'TRIlingual Parallel Text Information Corpus'.
