Tagged Corpus of Spoken Professional American English
This is the tagged version of the Corpus of Spoken Professional American English, which contains transcripts of professional conversations which were recorded between 1994 and 1998 (2 million words from 400 speakers). It can be divided in two sub-corpora of one million words each: press conference transcripts from the White House and academic discussions (such as faculty council meetings).
The corpus is annotated with the CLAWS 7 part-of-speech tagset.
Note that transcription has not been produced by linguists.
