French Interlanguage Database
The FRIDA project was launched in 1998; its aim was to compile a written corpus of French as a foreign language (size: 450,000 words).
This resource is thus an error-tagged learner corpus (xml format). Three types of information are given for each error: the domain (orthographic, lexical, grammatical, etc.), the category of error (genre for exemple) and the grammatical category of words.
This corpus has been used in the European project FreeText (French in Context) to design a multimedia tool for French learning.
