SUBTLEX-NL
This is a subtitle corpus for Dutch. It contains 44 million words from 8,443 films and television series.
The majority (71%) are subtitles translated from American films and television series. The remaining part are translated subtitles from languages other than English, and captions from Dutch films and television series.
It was built in order to create an improved frequency norm for Dutch Word frequencies. This new word frequency measure is called the SUBTL Frequency Norm.
