VALEX
This is a lexicon for English verbs valency which contains 6,397 verbs, including subcategorization (SCF) combinations and frequency informations, for a total of 212,741 entries (around 33 entries per verb).
Data collection was made automatically from five large corpora (British and American) and from the Web. The lexicon is provided with a software which allows to filter SCF combinations and also to create more accurate sub-lexicons.
It may be used for linguistic and psycholinguistic studies.
