SI-PRON Pronunciation Lexicon

This lexicon of pronunciation contains over 1.4 million lexical entries. Each entry includes words, corresponding pronunciations, lemmas and morphosyntactic descriptors of lexical entries. The format is based on requirements defined by the W3C Voice Browser Activity.

The lexicon contains all the lemmas from the Dictionary of Standard Slovenian (SSKJ) with some inflected word forms derived from these lemmas, and the most frequent inflected word forms in contemporary Slovenian texts.

It has been used for a Slovenian text-to-speech synthesis system and for generating audio samples of the Dictionary of Standard Slovenian (SSKJ).
