Italian Metaphor Database
The IMD is a resource on conceptual/linguistic metaphors in Italian. In 2006, 97 conceptual metaphors had been richly encoded.
The database is designed to provide information on the following aspects of metaphors: cognitive metaphor, source domain, target domain, links with other metaphors, lexical expressions, multiword expressions, corresponding metaphor in English, metaphorical expressions and multiword expressions eventually encoded in ItalWordNet, examples from a corpus of Italian.
