Cronfa Electroneg o Gymraeg

Cronfa Electroneg o Gymraeg (CEG) is a lexical database and frequency count in Welsh.

It contains more than 1 million words from a corpus of 500 texts covering different fields in Welsh prose written between 1970 and 1997. Fiction and factual prose were collected from:
- novels and short stories,
- religious writing,
- children literature,
- education, science, business, leisure activities,
- public lectures,
- newspapers and magazines, both national and local,
- reminiscences,
- academic writing,
- general administrative materials (letters, reports, minutes of meetings).

Each word is annotated with part of speech, lemma, type of mutation if present, and word frequency in the corpus.
