NorNet
NorNet is a monolingual WordNet of modern Norwegian which contains approximately 80,000 lexical relations.
This is a lexical-semantic network that is structured along the same lines as the Princeton WordNet (lexical reference system).
This WordNet was derived from a traditional dictionary for Norwegian, from which informations such as synonymy and hyponymy were automatically extracted from definitions. It only provides nouns, but should contains adjectives and verbs very soon.
A WordNet is a basic resource for computational linguistics purposes and language engineering applications (machine translation, IE, WSD, knowledge representation, etc.).
