HowNet (Chinese Wordnet)
HowNet is a knowledge base in the form of a graph containing words with inter-conceptual relations and inter-attribute relations of concepts (similar in the idea to Wordnet).
It is a basic resource for computational linguistics purposes and language engineering application (machine translation, IE, WSD, knowledge representation, etc.).
There is also an Extended-HowNet, where the HowNet-based meaning representation mechanism has been used to define the word meanings of over 90,000 lexical entries in the CKIP Chinese Lexical Knowledge Base.
